Why would anyone think Judge Judy would make a good supreme court justice?

Judith Sheindlin, the TV show judge, has been suggested everywhere for the Supreme Court, but I'm wondering why anyone would think such an old school lawyer with decades of common-sense experience in real life - with poor ghetto families, who bases her decisions on law - why would she be preferred over a progressive judge who has more insight into the 10% of Americans who are Hispanic! And who can better determine what was in the minds of our founding fathers and lawmakers than Sonia, who wants to write new law from the bench - an added bonus ? !
