How do I save something that i created online, onto a USB transport?

I made a crossword puzzle online. I don't have a printer at home so I have to save my doents on my USB and print at school. But I cannot seem to access the file. When I saved the crossword puzzle on my computer, when I try to click it nothing comes out. Can I email it so that my mom can print it at work? Or can I automatically save it from the website onto my USB? Please help! Thanks!
