As long as "back of my leg just under my knee" means your calf, and not the back of your knee, both places should be pretty similar pain-wise. I highly discourage you to get anything on the back of your knee, that would be excruciating. But yeah, both places would be similar, so I'd decide which one to get first with a coin toss.
