Is it safe to feed a chinchilla fresh peaches?

I just got a chinchilla today, and I have been reading up on it for a week or so, but I haven't been able to find information on what fresh foods they can ingest. I would also like to know if there is any other fresh foods they could eat safely. Thanks!
