Should I...move to West Virginia?

tl;dr I kinda love this kid, and he's going into the Navy after college (which presumably, he starts this fall) so I'm not going to have a whole lot of excessive opportunity to get him to fall in love with me. He asked me to come be his roommate. I can't go until next summer if I do. So that's three years before he enlists. Does this sound reasonable? Presumably, if I did, by the time he enlisted he would be in love with me.
