I need to fix error 1706 so I can install my new programs?

I need to know if I can fix error 1706. I’m trying to install some new programs on my computer, but when I do, I get this message: "Error 1706. Setup cannot find the required files. Check your connection to the network, or CD-ROM drive. For other potential solutions to this problem, see C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\1033\Setup.hlp." I downloaded some Cyrillic fonts the other day, could this have anything to do with it?
